Taylor’s advice to underclassmen is to try hard in school, get good grades starting your freshmen year, keep a good GPA, and have fun because high school goes by fast. When Taylor was young, she had always imagined herself being a teacher.


Jackson Blair

Plan after high school: Go to Lake Area Tech for Dental Assistant. In 10 years: Sidney sees herself making a lot money and living on her own or with her new family. Sidney’s advice to underclassmen is to use deodorant. What Sidney will miss the most after she graduates from Tri-Valley High School is all of her friends, because she has known most of them for 13 years. She will also miss some of the teachers at Tri-Valley because they are very supportive and kind people in general. Sidney is glad she was lucky enough to meet all of the great people she did at Tri-Valley.

After high school, Chase plans to participate in the Air National Guard and go to tech school for construction management. In 10 years, Chase imagines himself in his mom’s basement with a nice lamborghini parked in the garage. Chase’s advice to underclassmen is to do your work and to not cheat your way through school. If Chase had the opportunity to travel anywhere it would be Alaska because he could hunt and fish big game that are only from Alaska. He also says it would be a great experience.


Andrew Cypher

Andrew plans to attend USD for Medical Biology, and will try to get a tattoo apprenticeship while in college. In 10 years, Andrew sees himself just finishing school and becoming a medical examiner somewhere. Andrew’s advice to underclassmen is to get involved in a few student organizations, then go for an officer position in all of them. He says, “It's the most fun that way.” When Andrew was young he used to imagine himself as a combination explorer/inventor. Andrew always wanted to discover ancient ruins and build robots. Then Andrew realized robots are super complicated and he doesn't like the outdoors much.


Haley Dahl

In 10 years, Haley hopes to be living a cute life in Colorado. Haley’s advice to underclassmen is to not take it for granted and don't wish it over so fast. “I wish I could go back and be more appreciative of the time spent with all my classmates.” If Haley had the opportunity to travel anywhere it would be Europe because it is so pretty and she loves it.


Corbin DeVries

Corbin’s plan after high school is to attend STI for the Automotive Technology program. In 10 years,Corbin sees himself working in a shop and starting his own shop up. Corbin’s advice to underclassmen is don’t slack off. When Corbin was young he used to imagine himself as a racecar driver.

Eli plans to attend Lake Area Tech for diesel technology. In 10 years, Eli sees himself being employed at a diesel repair shop or his own shop. He also plans on having a house and maybe a few kids. Eli’s advice to underclassmen is to stay on top of school work and don’t cause problems with other people. If Eli could have one wish it would be to have been able to finish his senior year in school and not at home behind a computer, also to have the ability to graduate with the people he has been around for the last 12 years in person and not on the computer.

KyAnn loves Disney and has made so many memories from Disney World in Florida and she wants to continue expanding her memories and joy.

The thing Andrew will miss the most after graduating from Tri-Valley is all of the long nights he has spent hanging out with his friends without any worries.

When Nicole was young, she used to imagine herself as whatever her mother wanted her to be. Nicole’s mother wanted her to be a successful lawyer. "As I grew older, I found my own calling and I created my own goals for my life. I know that being a lawyer is not the career for me. I know that I will be much happier helping people and changing lives in the counseling field."

If Dylan had the opportunity to travel anywhere it would be to Finland because it seems like a cool and interesting place to visit.

Grace’s advice to underclassmen is to NEVER take a day of school for granted because you never know when it could be your last. After graduating, Grace will miss her classmates the most. She says, “Our time together was cut short and it breaks my heart knowing none of us knew it was going to be our last day on March 13th, but it was. I will also miss the teachers and all the relationships that have been made with them. Tri-Valley High School will forever be home to me and my classmates."

Olivia plans to attend Dakota State University for Elementary Education. In 10 years, Olivia sees herself staying in South Dakota to teach. She hopes to have a decent place to live and maybe be married. Olivia’s advice to underclassmen is to “get involved with different activities around school because you can make more friends and really find your passions.” If Olivia had the chance to travel anywhere, she would go to Ireland. “I am supposed to go there this summer, but I'm guessing that is not going to happen. Ireland has so many castles and I think it would just be really pretty to visit in person.”

In 10 years Alicia sees herself with a house, hopefully a career she enjoys, and maybe 1 kid. Alicia’s advice to underclassmen is to just have as much fun as you can. You never realize how good you have it. Hanging out with your friends or even how school can be good until it's taken away from you. When you want to make memories you can't. Alicia will miss all her friends and all the times they would mess around in class just to try and have a good time. All the jokes and laughs. The good and the bad moments. “Somehow we just always came together and acted like a family.”

Karina’s plan after high school is to attend cosmetology school. In 10 years, Karina sees herself living in her own house, married, and having kids. Karina’s advice to underclassmen is to take one day at a time, and breathe through every class, hard assignment, or whatever you're struggling with. If Karina could travel anywhere she would go to Jamaica because she thinks it’s a cool place.


Cody Winquist

Cody’s plan after high school is to attend SDSU for Pharmacy. In 10 years Cody hopes to go to be working in a pharmacy. Cody’s advice to underclassman is, “They always told us that you need to try, or it'll come back to haunt you. At first, I thought this was just their way of trying to get you to be more involved and to focus more on grades. Now, I am realizing that they were completely right, and that you need to try to consistently get good grades.” When Cody was young, he used to imagine himself as...a veterinarian. Back then he had a ton of sheep and thought it would be the best way for him to help his family.
