The task force is a great opportunity to take a vested interest in the future education not only of my own children but of all of the children within the district. We have a significant need not only for additional space for our students but also to ensure the classes and education being offered with the facilities we have meet the needs of our students. The work done on the task force will shape educational opportunities for years to come.

I am here to represent the future – our children. The school is in drastic need of space and fundamental improvements. Joining the Task Force, it is my intention to aid in getting the best infrastructure we can to support our children and staff for better education.

 

I'm excited to be a part of the task force and help the district in any way I can. Our family loves Tri-Valley and we want it to be the best it can be.

 

Our family moved to Crooks in 2017 from Sioux Falls. I am excited to help the district as we continue to see growth and expand the district's facilities for both students and the TV staff.

 

We moved to the Tri-Valley School district in 20017 and we are excited to be a part of this school district. I am looking forward to learning how we can meet the needs of our students and staff.

 

I attended Tri-Valley from grades K-12 and graduated in 1997. I hope to aid in researching and supporting the facility needs for the long-term growth of our district.

 

I attended Tri-Valley from grades 3-12 while graduating in 2004. My wife, daughter (3), and son (1) live in Sioux Falls. I am humbled and excited to be part of the Tri-Valley task force.

 

I graduated from Baltic High School and MVTS. I worked for Foreman Bus (the company contracted to drive for Tri-Valley) for 28 years. I worked as both a manager and now as a driver. I have farmed West of Baltic for 40 years. My wife and I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren who graduated from Tri-Valley. One granddaughter is a teacher at Tri-Valley now.

 

Education is the ultimate investment and I'm excited to see what kind of investments we can do for our district. My goal for the task force is to put forth long-term plans for the entire Tri-Valley district.

 

I grew up in Crooks and graduated from Tri-Valley in 2002. My parents were the first sophomore class when Tri-Valley was first formed. I currently have 2 elementary children and a preschooler. Go Mustangs!

 

My children, my husband, my in-laws, my parents, and myself have all attendedTri-Valley. I have lived in the district my entire life. My husband and I are also land-owners in the district.

 

My parents, grandparents, siblings, and I have all attended Tri-Valley. My husband and I farm in the district. I hope to give a voice to land-owners and rural members of the district. I will propose a plan to benefit all members of the district, especially our students and staff.

 

I am a lifelong resident of the community and a 1995 graduate of Tri-Valley. I am the Benton Township Supervisor.

 

My family moved to Crooks in 2009. I have been on the Crooks Housing & Development Commission for the past 4 years. I have also served on the Crooks Volunteer Fire Department for the past 6 years.

 

My family moved to Crooks about 3 years ago because we wanted to be in a smaller school district. I am a member of the Crooks Park Board.

 

My family moved to Crooks in 2008. I am currently the President of the Crooks City Council and Treasurer for CAWT (Crooks Area Working Together).

 

Our family transferred from Vermillion when our kids were starting middle school. My wife and I have two sons, one a 2019 graduate and another a senior this year. I have served as the Tri-Valley Booster Club President for the past 3 years and serve on the Music Parents Board.

 

I feel honored and privileged to represent the Tri-Valley School District on this task force. I am a graduate of TVHS and have lived in the district my entire life. (My dad was in the class of 1968!) I am married and have 3 children. My oldest son is a TV graduate, and I currently have 2 children attending in 5th and 11th grade. I have a vested interest in the education of all our children. We are a combination of rural communities, and it’s vital we work together to give our children the best education possible. I want our students to be equipped to not only succeed in life ... but thrive and compete in this world.

 

I live in the Tri-Valley School District and graduated from Tri-Valley in 1973. I live West of Colton. I have served on many community boards--30 plus years on the Colton Elevator Board, 25 plus years on the Minnehaha Community Water Board, 20 plus years on the Minnehaha Funeral Home Board, and church, county, and Colton Community Building committees. I enjoy serving on boards and giving back to my community.

 

I graduated from Pipestone, Minnesota and I am currently a business-owner within the district. I was on the previous Task Force Board.
