Early Childhood Screening Print

Early childhood screening has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 23 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm at the school.  This screening is available at no charge for children ages 0 to 5.  Call 543-5500 or 446-3538 to register.

Junior High Dance Print

Junior High Students:  Here's something to do on Friday, March 26th.  There will be a FREE dance in the Middle School Gym from 7 to 10 pm.  Parents, please be sure to be here before 10 pm to pick up your children.

Kindergarten Registration Print

Kindergarten registration will be held Monday, March 29th at 7 pm in the elementary gym.  If you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2010 please plan to attend this informational meeting for parents only.  Bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and his/her social security card.  If your child's immunizations are complete, please bring a copy of those along as well.

Love Our Planet Day Needs Supplies Print

The elementary students will be partaking in their annual enrichment day on Friday, May 7th.  This year the theme is "Love Our Planet".  The students will be reusing items and converting them into Earth-friendly projects.  The committee is looking for 150 of each of the following items:  milk jugs, 2-liter bottles, jeans, wine corks, old window screens, glass or plastic jars with lids, egg cartons, large pine cones, and scrap lumber (2X2's that are about 1 foot long).  Other items needed include:  bird seed and blenders (will not be returned).  Please send these items to school with your children.

Trash or Treasure? Print

We want your used cell phones, old printer cartridges, "Box Tops for Education" coupons, "Land of Lakes Save 5 for Schools" milk lids, and "Campbell's Soup" labels. Tri-Valley can earn points for new playground equipment and technology through your donations.  Please send them with your children or drop them off in the MS Library.

Tri-Valley NCLB Report Card Print

Tri-Valley students partake in the Dakota STEP achievement test each spring.  This test measures the progress of our students based upon the South Dakota content standards for Reading, Math, and Science.  Tri-Valley's elementary was named a Distinguished School, our middle school made Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) in all areas except students with reading disabilities, and the high school made AYP in all areas.  For more information check out the No Child Left Behind Report Card.

Construction Parking & Entrances Print

Due to the construction project, parking for school activities in the evenings will be to the North and East of the building.  The temporary entrance for school activities in the gymnasium will be the double doors by the shop in the back of the building.  If you have any concerns, please contact Superintendent Eckstaine at 446-3538.

Tentative Last Day of School Print

Due to the snow days, the school year has currently been extended 5 days.  The last day has tentatively been set for Tuesday, May 25th.  Check out the full year calendar for the 2010-2011 school year to help plan family vacations for next school year.
