Thank you for your patience with the rescheduling of tomorrow's double header against Beresford to today, 1/13/22. In order to ensure we were able to play the varsity games, today was our best option. We were able to secure officials to play one sub-varsity game per gender, so the schedule will be as follows: Girls JV @ 4:00pm; Boys JV @ 5:00pm; Girls Varsity @ 6:00pm; Boys Varsity @ 7:30pm. The Beresford v. Tri-Valley basketball games will be moved to today, Thursday, 13. Girls varsity will begin at 6pm with boys varsity immediately following at approximately 7:30. Further details regarding sub varsity games will be communicated pending worker availability.

The purpose of the meeting will be to set the school board election date. I will also be asking the board to amend the agenda to add:
1). Consider Response for Proposal from GnR Controls - we have now received a bid for upgrading our HVAC system to our existing building (Wrestling room, elementary gym, middle school gym and alternate for the counselor's office and ELL room).
2). A short executive session to inform the board of an employee matter.
The meeting will be held electronically via zoom as well as in the central office board room.

Due to the anticipated forecast for this evening, we have made a few schedule changes to get Tri-Valley school busses off the road before the anticipated high winds (and snow) are at their peak.
1). After school junior high practices will be concluded at 4:45 p.m. The co-curricular busses will leave the Tri-Valley School at 5:00 p.m. today.
2). Wrestlers going to Tea will ride down on a school bus (at the scheduled time) this afternoon. At the conclusion of the wrestling meet, wrestlers not riding home with parents will ride back to Tri-Valley in staff driven school vehicles.
3). The girls (home scheduled) junior varsity and varsity basketball matches for tonight remain unchanged.

Due to the weather forecast, we are going to bump up some activities tonight to get all of our busses home before the winds are expected to take a dramatic increase.
All after school activities will be concluded by 4:45 today. The activity busses will run at 5:00 p.m. and not 5:30 p.m. (December 15th)
There will be no junior high sports practices tomorrow morning (December 16th).
The Tri-Valley School Board will meet on Wednesday, December 15th for three items that were tabled at Monday's night meeting.
1). Bids for phase II of the elementary school (contractors needed more time to go through all the bid packages before presenting to the board)
2). Updated proposal from Dakota Educational Consulting for boundary work in relation to two elementary schools.
3). School calendar survey (we had a board member absent Monday)

The JHGBB tournament scheduled for Saturday, December 11th has been canceled at all locations.
HSBB Double Header vs. Garretson scheduled for Friday, December 10th has been rescheduled due to weather. The boys will play on Saturday, December 18th: C - 10:00am / JV - 11:15am / V - 12:30pm. The girls will play on Tuesday, December 28th: JV - 5:30pm / V - 6:45pm. Games on both dates will be played in the TV HS Gym.
