Due to influenza hitting the Beresford Middle School Girls basketball teams today's games have been canceled.
Here are the game times for the boys and girls double header at Parkston on Thursday, Dec. 8th. Boys & Girls "C" games begin at 4:00 pm. Boys and Girls "JV" games begin at 5:00 pm. Varsity Girls will play at 6:30 pm followed by varsity Boys at 8:00 pm. The Girls C and JV games will be played in the Parkston High School Multi-Purpose Room. The Boys C and JV games along with both the Varsity games will be played in the Parkston Armory gym.

We have a couple of changes to our event schedule next week. The JV wrestling meet scheduled for Monday, Dec. 5th has been canceled. The schedule for the MS Girls Basketball on Tuesday, Dec. 6th is as follows; the 7th grade game will start at 4:00 pm with the 8th grade game to follow. Both of the games will be played in the Middle School gym.
Today's quiz bowl event at Dell Rapids has been canceled due to the weather.

It is currently forecasted that we will see our first winter weather event of the year during the overnight hours tonight and tomorrow morning. Although I don’t anticipate making any school weather-related decisions based upon the current forecast, I thought it would be a good reminder to send out our process to parents today.
In the event school would be closed or if a late start is issued, a SchoolMessenger (phone call) will be made. Sometimes though, individuals don’t receive these calls. We will also post our information to the two local television stations (Keloland and DakotaNewsNow) as well as the Tri-Valley Facebook page. I would suggest always referring to at least a couple sources for information, as sometimes technical difficulties do happen.
In the event we would have a bus running significantly late due to the weather or for any other reason, that information will be posted to the Tri-Valley Facebook page. You can also always call the bus garage at 605-446-3482 in those events with questions.

Volleyball fans the brackets are set for Region 3A. The Mustangs will travel to Baltic on Tuesday, Nov. 1st to play Baltic in the 1st round of play. Game time is set for 7:00 pm.

As we are winding down with the fall sports season here are some important dates for the winter sports season. MS Girls basketball will start on Nov. 9th. 7 - 12 grade wrestling will start on Nov. 14th. High School Girls basketball will start start on Nov. 21st. High School & Middle School boys basketball will start on Nov. 28th. Please remember to have physicals and all paperwork taken care of before the start of your season if you have not done so already.
